I am mystified as to why all of the service area buildings on the NYS Thruway(I-90) between the PA line and the Mass Pike are being demolished and replaced with structures that look like processing centers, not rest areas.

Reduced tourist and visitor traffic to Manhattan as people from the suburbs increasingly stay away. Significantly reduced ticket sales for entertainment on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Museums, Restaurants, etc. Eventually all live entertainment will be out of business and everyone will be entertained in the Metaverse. NYC is going down the drain.

This concept will eventually used to limit travel by car by charging an increasing fee/tax to travel outside one's local area. This is literally the end of freedom of travel as it gets implemented. The EZ pass makes it possible to create these taxable travel restrictions - A Geofence/a digital concentration camp to keep people in a small geographic area in the name of climate change, CO2 reduction and Agenda 2030.

I'm happy to hear this because the out of state drivers cruising my East Village, Manhattan neighborhood at night make air pollution that leaves me gasping for air and forces me to use more asthma medicine just to stay out of the hospital emergency ward. They also honk their horns a lot, waking me up repeatedly.

However:

1.) The "criminal justice reforms" that allow criminals to roam the streets need to be reversed.

2.) Some kind of mechanical barrier should be installed that prevents people from being able to fall onto the tracks--some kind of gate that pops up and then goes back down when the train arrives.
