I'm a full-time RVer and can't name the last time I saw an operating Six Flags We still have an eye sore of the remenints of one in the New Orleans area. Apparently it's a "haunted theme park" now Now I wanna go visit it lol.

It really could be intense depending, we used to run special nights like Grad night - and the gangs would come in by the bus loads from Chicago - and it would get very hairy in there - also lots of Sailors on Liberty form Great Lakes - Gurnee has a large police and fire response due to tax the park has to pay to Gurnee to provide first responders/deal with the crowds.

Um, you always had to be vigilant. When the gangs would come in and throw their signs around - also we were informed even back in the day very large drug deals would go down in the parking lot due to its location. So maybe there was a facade of safety - but a lot of shit went on. It was a great place to work though - to be honest, especially when Marriott ran it.
Almost all the kids in Lake County worked there at some point.
We all knew kids from other schools, and it made football games and proms pretty interesting - not typical.
