Wild Boars are smarter than Americans.

They know that if they do NOTHING to defend themselves, that they will end up as nothing more than sitting ducks, or fish in a barrel.

They knew they had nothing left to lose. That it was kill, or BE killed.

They agree with Winston Churchill:

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed, if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

Even the pigs understand this.

I remember reading stories in the late 90's that wild boars were going to be a huge problem some day. It was said they they would be roving in herds, consuming everything and even killing people. They said that some of the boars can get as big as Volkswagen Bugs. The stories used to freak me out.

They came from 2 angles like a premeditated attack.

It's one of the biggest reasons to need an AR. I have had thirty of those in or around my fields at one time.

Yay! They staged the wild boar to come at em from all angles and hilltops!

That’s how they do it in Hawaii. Neighbor is pig hunter and has around 30 dogs.

They also set traps which, a friend of mine did but something went wrong and they found him mauled to death.

Not only will wild boar literally tear a path of destruction and destroy any and everything around it , they will attack you , kill you and eat you too.
We shoot them from the air in Texas.
And they are HIGHLY intelligent Animals too.

Yes those things run in packs.
They will gang up on you and if they kill you they will eat you.

AR in 5.56 isn't going to cut it. 6.8 SPC or some hunting variant is recommended.

Also these guys are terrible shooters, and shooting when they’re still too far away.

But what do I know.. never had that experience.
