I often wonder how many preppers find themselves at the end of their life cycle and flat broke from all the preps that went bad through the years.

I got a cylinder of food grade nitrogen for my parents, and they found 5 gallon buckets with resealable lids...Process it with nitrogen and seal it, it lasts until the seal decays...They finally used them all up, except the rice...way too much rice lol

I have micron water filters that you could suck up a mud puddle and get pure water...but I would recommend using the cleanest water you can...

I have a few of those lifestraws they market like that, however I’m with you, I would rather just find clean running water.
