you can get EMP rated surge devices for your home, vehicles, generator, solar inverters.

i have them on my vehicles and breaker box.

if the big emp hits i will lose power but my appliances will not be damaged.


the military/DOD is known to be hardening their own assets...but there is no Federal pressure on counties to protect their citizens....even though the fix is affordable.
