You can buy all the extra stuff you need, store everything in a great Faraday cage that actually works...since most don't/won't. It won't matter, cause all the infrastructure will be shot to shit.
If you have a radio that survives, there will prob be no repeaters or such
If your car works or is fixable, you will only go so far, because gas stations won't work
