Why was she lying completely flat on the stretcher with her face covered with a sheet?

They knew that she was alive, they were talking to her while she was still in her car.

Wouldn't a fire/smoke/trauma victim have some oxygen?

Wouldn't having a sheet over your face like you were dead make it even harder to breathe?

You do realize at the point you saw her 1. SHE WAS BREATHING so the question becomes why the heck would they give a person who is breathing oxygen?

2. ALL any of us saw was a tiny moment in time as the paramedics were doing exactly what they should have done...getting her to the ambulance or as most of the now are referred to as mobile trauma centers.

As far as my attitude it's just that we had a lengthy thread on this very topic just yesterday and these silly questions from arm chair paramedics become tedious.

Somebody posted in another thread, that it was a special sheet they use to treat burns victims. The patient is covered , then you pour cold water on it to help cool the burns, rather than pouring it straight on the wounds. Makes a lot more sense than the crap being posted in this thread.

As common sense should tell a person...someone who is capable of rising from a gurney and fighting paramedics HAS an "airway established"...if not, you would not have seen her rise up.

She was trapped in a burning car inside a burning house for a very substantial time. It's a miracle they were able to get her out at all.

I agree. It seems the family wants to make her into a hero by saying she'll be donating organs, which was her request. My opinion....she put so many lives in danger, she's anything but a hero.

For whatever reason they want to shut you up. I think you asked good questions; especially, why no oxygen, why if she was able to pop up, was she not treated like a living, suffering human being?
But the stuff about grabbing her expensive parts before she's really dead was very telling!!!

Burn Sheets are coverings that aid in protecting burn patients against infection.


They did EXACTLY what they were supposed to do.

A general basic protocol for managing burn injuries is as follows:

Remove the patient from the source of the burn and stop the burning process.
Establish and maintain an airway, adequate breathing and oxygenation.
Classify the severity of the burn and transport immediately if critical.
Cover the burned area with a dry sterile dressing.
Keep the patient warm and treat for other injuries as needed.
Transport the patient to an appropriate burn facility.

Why.

OK, maybe you need to wake up or something. You really believe that IF someone is breathing, paramedics NEVER put an O2 mask on that person? The injured was burned and exposed to smoke. Sucking air in and out of your lungs NEVER means you don't give that patient O2. ALL that have come out of a fire will be given O2. It's hard to accept the lack of critical thinking in some of you people but then again, all one has to do is go ANYWHERE to see the 90% TARDS who can't find their own A$$. I guess we can call YOU an armchair "thinker."

The fact that she bought a wig an hour before the wreck, it was red color, and she didn't care that it was not cut or styled yet, she was in a hurry. The guy said the wig might be dirty from sitting around so long, so she just said sell me some shampoo, any shampoo.

Also, the guy that sold her the wig said that she showed no signs of intoxication, no slurring of speech, no signs of drugs.

Wow. An actress whose roles all revolved around her being attractive suddenly doesn't care that a wig is not styled?
And she was out and about with no makeup on.

And she had 2 wrecks! Wrecked once a little bit, people tried to help her, and she sped off again and then had the big wreck.
