May be old, but it's interesting to think what else could go wrong when allow AI to be introduced to more parts of society

That would be painful and certainly something the kid will never forget. I don't care for these psychopath AI robots. That's what they are psychopaths and some people want them in our society. They are not human and have no conscious nor sense morality.

Yeah this also happened to another kid a few weeks back.

Couldn't they have some kind of magnetized piece movement instead of that automotive assembly line style terminator?

I only read about it today from another news source.

Chess is a game of witts. If you can't out-witt your opponent then logically the next best option is to break the opponent. The AI was correct.

THAT is fucking badass! I tip my hat to that young man and volunteers that helped count moves. I have a feeling that boy will have a bright future in whatever field he desires.

For a child to put his emotions and physical pain aside and keep pushing forward speaks volumes to his character. I pray God guides him along his path.
