He says “eating milk, meat and eggs is an indulgence we cannot afford”

The “expert” is taking an hysterical, over-the-top, extreme doomsday scenario that says unless we abolish millions of years of farming, animal husbandry and livestock farming then we are in danger of an IMMINENT system collapse that will end all life.

Obviously this guy is being taken seriously which begs the question why they would not then willingly CULL half the human population if it is this dire - because clearly this kind of thinking justifies it.

As for words and the American Revolution - well the revolution wasn’t spontaneous and random. It happened BECAUSE of words, speeches, and ideas. From inspirations, philosophy, and concepts which took hold in people that then took coordinated action.

Guns alone never change anything and violence begets violence. It is the great ideas of history which have changed the world.

You have to have strong and powerful inspiring arguments and THAT is what is lacking. So far all the momentum is on the crazy side because they control Academia and Media.

Farmland isn't cycled enough between types of crops on the same plots of land, so it depletes the soil of its nutrients

I’m saying pretty much what you are - that action without consensus, without deliberation, without a meeting of minds and (possibly the most important consideration of all) without the proper timing, will be counterproductive in the extreme. To quote the I Ching (the Wilhelm translation):

I think ultimately we need less people on the planet and if people want meat they should hunt wild game and prep it themselves.

1. Have you procreated, and if so, how many children did you add to the population?

2. If you eat meat, do you only eat what you’ve hunted, killed and butchered?

3. Do you equate the rights of animals as equal to those of humans?

4. Do you think that you would enjoy having someone far removed from you and your particular circumstances dictating to you how you should live?
