There is clearly a liberal slant in search results. For example I was looking recently for 'Trump Inauguration 2016' because I am aware of a lot of Antifa violence that day.

If you search for it...you will see that Google doesn't give you any negative crap about the rioting that day. It gives you anti-Trump links.

But I am not convinced that just because a massive number of results exist, you should expect to Google to show you 6 billions pages.

yep I remember thinking that when it happened.

Most people took their blogs/forums/personal websites down willingly, they all moved to social media thinking it was better but the reality was most of those communities fizzled out immediately.

As for search engines, its partly censoring and partly trying to hide how small the Internet is now. Facebook, tiktok and Instagram are unsearchable, twitter is technically searchable but it's a mess, reddit same thing. The Internet is done, it has been done for over ten years now.

They are not deleting it, they are just capping and filtering results.

Don't know if it's been said but Wayback Machine is incredible for finding deleted information/sites.

It's far from perfect though, so if you see something important archive it OFFLINE, online archives can be taken down any time.
