I did a regular bulb too...Notice, as I told you will happen, the air in front of the bullet compresses and blows the bulb, before it gets there...

The 1st one was better than expected, arcing too.

That "shooting dungeon" of yours is a hazardous materials dumpsite now. Surprised you don't have lung cancer yet.

How about a coconut, in its shell, milk removed if you don't want it in.

The "arcing" is actually the tungsten oxidizing in the air, due to the vacuum seal being destroyed...Cool as shit! I knew what would happen in each case, but forgot how cool it must look in slo-mo...

I'm not vaxxed, no cancer...

What's the oldest gun you have Brief? Got any flintlock? Lead ball/bullet might do something different, no sparks though.

Have you got any lead bullets for a conventional gun?
You have a sword, mount it and shoot a lead bullet at it to split it in half, or another blade if the sword might get damaged.
Put 2 lit lightbulbs behind, see if the two halves will hit them.

Another target, not as above, shoot at a lit flourescent tube.

Scrub that...
More of a challenge using an air rifle/pistol to shoot at a blade.

My camera is not fast enough to justify ruining a sword, but I have other experiments going, but I'll consider the idea and see if I can make it work, THANKS!

Yeah, and so far my estimations are winning over my friend's calculations...He's a mathematician and computer scientist and I have both read and studied physics, with real world experience. He has always worked behind a desk...I cannot compete with his math, but I know more about the capabilities of my weapons...

Just ran a test and so far, the first half has given us awesome results...The next pics should be the first half of the experiment, which yielded some fantastic shots...
