I bought the three pack of bubbled for my grandson, he loves them, well who doesn't? So I'll attempt to make a buch at once...And another paining with lots of paint, and better focusing...

I'm both cameraman and shooter, so I try to make sure it all looks right on the display before firing, and firing itself my jar the camera out of focus...I'll perfect it eventually...

You can shoot the same stuff I did, with much different results...Even my 1911 .45 doesn't do the spectacular things you saw here...

Two primary reasons:

Here's the mansplaining:

1. A pellet is about 8 grain, whereas the shotgun shells have 2oz, and the 7.62 x 54 has around a 180 gr,

7.62 x 54 : 11.7 g (181 gr) FMJ


1 grain = .0647989 Grams


The mass makes a huge difference in momentum, velocity, ft/lbs, or even joules of energy, they are all just measurements of kinetic energy...

2. Air rifles produce up to 1400 fps with a 5 gr pellet, and usually less, like my air rifle, the Beeman R9 shown here, is 1200 fs.

The air rifle can't produce enough air pressure (energy) to throw a heavy projectile like exploding gun powder...

The 5.56 x 45 AR-15 standard round, develops 16,000 lbs. per sq in. The very most a .177 air rifle can produce is 2000 lbs., like a CO2 cartridge.
