Now here is the awesome silly string can ignition series. I used a 7.62 X 54 armor piercing round. I'm sure you will see the difference.

Please don't try this at home. I am a professional Maniac...I actually know what I'm doing and take proper safety measures...

I'm also going to get more silly string and hit it with a .22 or the pellet gun, to see if I can make it spray streams...

I'm pretty sure it used every bit of the goop you saw in the last series of silly string, as fuel...I was convinced the lead tip would not ignite it, as I mentioned, and the energy I estimated for the propellent in the can that blew up, including using the goop as more fuel, I was sure it would be pretty, while not being too big...

I utilized the old coal room of my antique home, first sold in 1890, as the target room. The way it's designed, I am basically shooting through a doorway.

The backdrop I built absorbs the energy from the projectiles and drops them safely on the ground...Any ricochets, which are generally a 20* angle, will hit the walls...I'm 30' back in a cubbyhole, safe.

Have you got a crossbow? How good are you with it? Can you do a William Tell, no, not the apple on the head, split the first bolt with the second shot
Something else to shoot, a can of shaving foam. Had my daughter's kids shoot one in the garden with air rifle, makes a nice mess, but easy to clean up..

Any particular reason why?

I have split arrows with my compound bow, but I haven't practiced enough with the crossbow...The bolts are carbon fiber, they don't recommend anything less, because it's 220lb
draw weight..I can hit the 18" crossbow foam target I bought for it at 30 yards...

I like the shaving cream idea...I can hose it down, it's the basement after all, with AstroTurf on the concrete floor to prevent slipping...

Never mind the cost of ammo.

I'm using ammo I bought in bulk , back in 1998-99 and I'm saving brass because I'm going to get a reloader...Don't worry, we won't be nearing the bottom anytime soon...Not at this rate...
