When you have an injury like this, your body begins to fill up with fluid and swell, her brain was swelling, also. Right after the accident, she was probably alert to a degree. I have heard of many cases that are similar, where someone seems to still have something left to function with, but their injuries eventually overtake their system and they do not make it. She was expected to live per relatives Media was promoting that story for a few days. Then I read an interview with her ex husband who said that was not true. He said she was critical and not expected to live. I'm not surprised she's on life support. It's obvious she was suicidal. I'm surprised she didn't die in that car. It would appear in this case they missed the vital signs of the victim, who could have at least been given a mask with oxygen / oxygen rich air and possibly fluid. They must have thought she was a goner. Will be interesting to see if questions are asked of the first responders and paramedics. Sitting up like that was spooky. |

She was crying, screaming, moving a lot. Within 30 minutes her eyes were swollen shut and she was non-responsive. She had a rough few weeks but ultimately survived with some long term issues. |
