These are the logical fallacies that are being pushed on society now.

Obviously there are limits to speech. Direct credible threats, libel and the like not acceptable. Those aren't what I'm talking about here.

I'm talking about when someone is "triggered" by an offensive comment.

I'm talking about someone allegedly taking action because of a purported lie.

Someone traumatized by a comment on social media.

These type of things need to be talked about in real life terms, especially with the younger generation, and understood to be the logical fallacies they are.

Personal responsibility is the key to all of this.

If someone were to tell me that we're currently in the end times because of what the bible says, something many people believe to be a lie, that's not dangerous. If I were to take radical action, as some people have (doomsday cults, etc), that would be squarely on me. No one else. Doesn't matter one bit if someone told me a "lie" or not.

If someone were to tell me I'm fat and ugly AF on the internet and I were to blow my life savings on plastic surgery and liposuction and become anorexic, again, that would be SQUARELY ON ME. NO ONE ELSE. Those CHOICES would be MY choices, and MINE alone.

If someone in traffic were to honk their horn at me and yell "move it a-hole", and I were to go road rage on them and act out violently; yup, you guessed it, SQUARELY ON ME.

If someone tries to break into Area 51 because they were told aliens are there, the person who told them aliens are there isn't the person who gets arrested.

It matters not that "they started it" or that their words or sounds were "triggering". That's grade-school level mental midgetry. Adults have the responsibility to DE-ESCALATE situations, think critically, and understand that someone's words cannot force them to act. If they feel like words are forcing them to act, it's on them to GET HELP.

Communists of the radical left don't like this, because it takes away their ministry-of-truth "misinformation is dangerous" mind war weapon. It's a logical fallacy, always has been, always will be.

If only there were any logic left in the world, your words would be well founded and worthy of consideration. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Even much of the seemingly intelligent and rational are infested with the illogical rot of this world. You have to work a bit to find it sometimes, but most are simply focused on the fantasies they’re fed, and want nothing to do with anything that might challenge that.
Within the surreal depths of "reality" lies the truth.
