Anonymous Coward User ID: 80989674 United States 08/12/2022 10:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What about recreational weed? You’re not on a list if you smoke recreationally. You don’t need a medical recommendation for recreational. Stupid people do stupid things. Not only that, the cat is out of the bag that alcohol is associated with way more batshit crazy behavior than weed. Good luck taking the guns away from all the people who consume alcohol. And good luck taking the guns from all the people who smoke weed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80989674 It’s a fool’s errand. But they’re fools so hey don’t vote for fools I guess lol!!!!! Don't ask, don't tell. The US government has no business or need to know what weed U.S. citizens smoke or otherwise utilize. Yep they have no business messing with weed or guns or alcohol for that matter. Society can regulate itself in a lot of ways but control freaks try to come up with control measures anyway. Stupid is as stupid does. |

Dr Thaddeus They They don't really care whether the truth gets out, because the public no longer knows what's meant by "the truth." Well, I mean, no one can tell the difference anymore between what's real and what's fake. Anyway, the point is, I can tell you all of this, right out in the open, because it doesn't matter who knows about it. They won't know whether to believe it or not.- X Files: Lost art of Forehead Sweat A gun is a tool, Marion, no better or no worse than any other tool, an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that. -SHANE- Jefferson Smith: You see, boys forget what their country means by just reading The Land of the Free in history books. Then they get to be men they forget even more. Liberty's too precious a thing to be buried in books, Miss Saunders. Men should hold it up in front of them every single day of their lives and say: I'm free to think and to speak. My ancestors couldn't, I can, and my children will. Boys ought to grow up remembering that . - MR Smith Goes To Washington- to grow up remembering th My oath to support and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic has no expiration date!!! Ten Bears : It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. Outlaw Josey Wales |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 82109394 United States 08/12/2022 11:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yep I agree but it has always been that way for all addictive/drug substances, if you’re an alcoholic, druggie, Coke, meth, H, you get the picture. also if you’re on antidepressant meds. Seriously, you need to be totally straight/sober if you wanna own a firearm or rifle. Quoting: redhed6971 Honestly SSRIs are probably the worst drug to be on if you own a gun. Mass shooter data clearly states this but whatever, getting high and hungry is more dangerous to the feds apparently. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 82109394 United States 08/12/2022 11:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | do what the democrats do just change the name of a gun to a potato and you can own that one. Actually there are options that do not count as a firearm. ATF has no authority over them, whatsoever. As a result, you can literally go buy a full auto one of these, today: Now, the current tech doesn't have the stopping power of a proper firearm, but it's getting better over time. And I sure wouldn't want to be hit with one, or about 10 of them in a split second on full auto. The fact that it's not a firearm and does not fall under the current regulatory framework in any way is very nice. Another option, perfectly legal and not a firearm as far as the regulatory framework is concerned? Replica antique guns, including black powder revolvers. Now these fuckers DO have some serious stopping power. You can buy one right now, no background check, no 4473, no regulations whatsoever. You can be a convicted felon, doesn't matter, it's not a "firearm" as far as federal law is concerned. The only thing you have to be careful of are state laws. It seems like Commiefornia may have some restrictions on it and treat it as a firearm once there are percussion caps on it (ie, it's loaded and ready to fire). I also have no clue what Commiefornia may have in store for regulations regarding coil guns. But again, as far as federal law is concerned, these options are not firearms. That coil thing shoots about as hard as an airsoft It can get under the skin and give you a real nasty infection! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 80859772 United States 08/12/2022 11:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Conservatives love Biden now. You're all a bunch of fucking cunts. I hope you starve to death. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83782599 You're stuck pigeonholing people the same way conservatives of the past and Democrats in the present still do. Nobody, conservative or otherwise (unless you're a hardcore prohibitionist dipshit) would think this makes any sense. Because clearly weed makes you more aggressive than alcohol, but there is no provision banning alcoholics from owning guns. Yeah, ok. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79040234 United States 08/12/2022 11:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oh shit I had a MJ med card for 1 year and then let it expired, its been about 8 years ago. Maybe I am not in the system anymore. I don't think they care if you don't have the card anymore. It's probably only if you have an active card. Even then I doubt these assholes would even catch it. Medical marijuana cards aren't federal. They'd have to get that information from the state. It's a lot of hot air they are blowing. Originally it was probably put in place to stop people from getting Marijuana cards not firearms. For a long time the feds were fighting the medical marijuana. I used to have a card to and I bought firearms legally. Fucking dumb executive order probably. All the medical states vary for example it’s literally the wild Wild West in Oklahoma, no of existing conditions needed and doesn’t affect concealed carry meanwhile in Colorado effective this year they’re now tracking every single medical purchase whereas with recreational it’s a free for all...it makes no sense other than they’re most likely beta testing while at the same time trying to eliminate medical, least that’s what it appears and feels like (re: Colorado) ~BP |

A minority may consider themselves "independents" or even "libertarians". Almost NONE are "conservatives". That is reality. As for Libertarianism...I stopped being a Libertarian when they put the open borders plank in the platform and I will not be one until it is removed -- entirely. AKA Tiger Blood |

Don't know how valid this statement is but it was for this very concern that I didn't get a card... not that I would put that stuff in my lung, but one never knows what medical emergency would mandate the need... and, yes, it does have medicinal properties.. |
