It Was Thirty Years Ago, August 1992 Ruby Ridge
Federal agents murdered two members of a family and nearly murdered a family friend.

They did that because Mr. Weaver, God rest his soul, failed to show for a federal court date. The summons they sent him had the wrong date on it. No matter, Weaver had already decided not to come off the mountain and submit to a corrupt JustUs system. The trial was going to be over a Scam set-up by the ATF.

Then the U.S. Marshall Service sent a SWAT team to the Weaver property. The Marshalls killed the family dog. They then killed a fourteen year old kid who had the unmitigated gall to return fire on some strangers and trespassers who had shot his dog. Sammy Weaver was shot in the back as he was running for the house.

One Marshall bravely and heroically ran away down the hill to the nearest phone and called his boss, telling him of a massive fire fight, that the Marshalls were pinned down, etc.

Then the FIB's Hostage Roasting Team was called in to murder everyone on the hill. The rules of engagement were, "authorized to kill any armed adult". After Special Agent Lon Horiuchi murdered Vicky Weaver, they had made the decision to kill everyone in the house. Dick Rogers, commanding the Hostage Roasting Team, told Bo Gritz they were about to do that exact thing. Thank the Lord, Bo Gritz was able to talk the surviving family members out of the house and down the hill.

At trial, Weaver was found NOT GUILTY of all charges except "failure to appear", from his first trial date.

Kevin Harris, wounded at the same moment Vicky Weaver was murdered, was found not guilty of all charges.

The weavers were paid 3.1 million dollars for damages by the Federal Government.

The FIB now claims to have been "a victim too".

What a shit show.
R.I.P. to those wrongfully murdered.
