OP it doesn't matter what we would do. Everyone's situation is different.

I would pay off my house as I owe right at $50k on it atm.

But if it were already paid off I would invest. Crypto, energy, chips. Lithium has potential too. Gamble on some penny stocks.

If I were already well invested, I'd probably use it to restore my '68 Camaro. Still have about 10 years left before it's completely illegal to own, and $50k would be just about right to make it fast and cherry again.

But that's just me.

I just had have 50,000 I got half of it left went on three big vacation and rest will be for buying some 5 ounces of gold and few acres. 50,000 now is like $10,000 in 1980 it don't bother you much!
