Very nice! I hate "one upping" anyone, but...I also bought AAA roadside kids for each of my children, my daughter-in-law and wife. They all looked at me like, "Gee, thanks" at Christmas. I laughed. I'm gonna make up five more bags for my other two sons, daughter-in-law, son's girl friend & wife.

Since my wife and I travel together we have one "main bag" and one she can carry mostly clothes and some medical supplies as needed.

Why some people think some thing are a competition is beyond me. Sharing good info or resources in the hopes that other people find value in it is how I roll too. I want everyone to be successful!

My brother asked me for my list as well. Love that he's working on his also. Mine is really a get home bag. My best shot at survival is at the house. I keep my bag and EDC with me all the time. When we travel, I throw the other bag for my wife, in the vehicle. I really need to make her a full one as well in case she has to travel to see her mom and now that she's going back to the office, she needs one for "get home" purposes.
 Quoting: Big Daddy D

I kept mine in my pickup for years.... Hated going into town for overnight visits to family or friend and leaving in my truck, or when I am shopping in town though, because there is about $700.00 tied up in that one bag. One broken window and it's all gone.
 Quoting: Osmium76

I have a hard bed cover and I have several plastic totes in the back of my truck and keep the bag in one of those so it's not visible and the gate is locked so it's extremely difficult to see in the bed of my truck. Plus, the totes are pushed up against the cab so if I do open the gate, it's still difficult to see the totes.

I keep a medical kit under my back seat. (I umpire baseball and keep that on hand). Also, I have a tactical seat cover with several pouches that I can take off as needed that have additional items. In one of the other totes in my truck bed, I have towels, blankets, rain suits, emergency blankets, etc. In the third tote, I have automotive items - straps, fire extinguisher, extra wipers, coolant, oil, etc.

im sure you'll do great! for like... a week. And maybe you have a few months of food too! Great, you'll keep going for a few more months.

Then what.... Squirrel for dinner?

The only reason id prep, would be for some temporary local disaster that will pass, collapse of western civilization is a stretch because theres really nowhere to run if that happens, a global collapse..... Are you really prepping for that?

Because whats coming (the beast system) is global and wont pass, you will be faced with your rejection of God at some point, even if you would make it trough the tribulation. So nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide.

That leaves only 1 realistic option. You can read about it in Romans 10:9-11. Believe Christ died for your sins and his resurrection, and confess Jesus is Lord. Then you wont have to think about this, because you will look forward to the rapture.

Re: I made a bug out bag
Your welcome. I like the stacked leather effect. 440A steel is generally considered good knife steel.

Others mentioned Esee, which is in the mid range for a good knife on price point. Although I don't own one currently, I have considered purchasing one or two and don't feel you could go wrong by getting one yourself if you want a quality knife and are willing to pay a bit more.
 Quoting: Osmium76

Great, so youre prepping for a future as a knife maker/repairer. You'll sit there and make knifes until you die, and trade it for cans of expired soup etc. Sounds like a plan.

But why arent you already doing this if you think this is how you'll make it?

If I'd prep, it would be a militia type of prepping based around a well stocked armory with night vision and high end optics, AR15's, AR10's, .50 cal rifles, bodyarmour, knowledge of making explosives from fairly accessible mathereal and have all id need for waging war IF I HAVE TO, for defence of a region or my country, which is LEGAL (to my knowledge) in the US, but not in Europe. My intensions of doing it, would be for GOOD, not for terror or to attack anyone in peacetime, like US militia groups work NOW - as an extension of the military.

But thats not what your prepping for, youre basically prepping for hiding out in the bush and survive... WHAT? Is the life your picturing really worth it? Why not just sit there if what youre picturing happens without having wasted all that time and energy and just die?

I dont get it. I suggest getting a bible, if youre saved, you shouldnt fear death, and God will provide. Which means should something horrible happen, you can count on God making a way FOR YOU so you DONT have to starve.

Well done!

Personally I worry most over psychos ~
as in those around us,
especially predatory men...

I can take death and Skyfall
but 99,999% of other people disgust me!

Their stupid thoughts, weakness,
draining energy vampires,
narcissists, mental illness, etc

I read horror stories from New Orleans
as people got pushed into sports stadiums
after Katrina flooding...

Locked in with r@ppists, killers,
mentally ill who's without medicine.
Addicts, druggies with delerium...

Many men use / abuse women in dire stress.
Chivalry is dead,
as many are addicted to {{{Their P.0.®.N.}}}
which program men to be abusive...

{{{ Their P.0.®.N. }}}

[link to radiochristianity.com (secure)]

The hatred of women is extreme nowadays,
just read posts online,
threads full of men hating women,
any thread here with female words in title
gets flooded with raw bullying & abuse...
and such men turn psycho in a crises.

A predator is never as charming
as when it's hungry...

They lovebomb you, then they strike...

So never drop your guard!

I guess that works well then. My back seat area is my storage catch all. I just know too many people who get their vehicle broken into in the city. It's happened to me before also. It's got much worse. Car prowlers have gotten pretty bad over the years here.

I have a raised canopy on my pickup that doubles as my home away from home when I go camping. I just throw a 4 inch memory foam down in the bed with a tarp under it, add blankets and pillows and throw a few totes in there to stow under the truck when I am ready for bed. No tent to set up, good shelter and I keep dry and safe. With the built on roof racks, I can also haul my canoe.

I spent two weeks one summer camping with my adult son that way and we both fit in there without too much discomfort. He is 6'4" and about 210lbs and I am slightly shorter and weigh about 40lbs less. Neither of us really had any complaint.

Nice. I want to put a raised canopy on mine as well. I'm waiting on the auto prices to line out before I buy another vehicle. Truck is 8 years old so I'm not making any additional "investments" in it at this point. I just want to get 2-3 more years out of it. Hoping it hangs in there.

 Quoting: -Kate-

You mean you claim to know what scripture clearly teach, but somehow got off track. How?

This isnt unclear. The rapture is before the tribulation, thats why christians teach it. Its not doctrines of man, its doctrines clearly explained in the bible. Thats why i asked you about 2 Thess 2:7-8. HE that will be removed or taken out of the way, the restrainer, is the Holy spirit, indwelling the believers. When we go in the rapture, the antichrist will show up.

But there is judgement when Christ returns after the tribulation, the wicked wont escape that.

What is wrong with having faith that God will protect His people as He pours out His Wrath upon the Ungodly, even while His people remain upon earth as it happens?

Psalms 91:10 Context

7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Proverbs
Chapter 2
21For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

22But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

Daniel in the lions den and the three who were cast into the furnace and yet lived are good examples of how God can and will protect His people who bear His seal.

As too is the account of the Death Angel in Egypt when Pharaoh refused to release the Israelite's.

In all of these, Gods people were there, but they were sealed with His protection. They didn't receive the wrath He poured out. Only those who didn't heed God did.

All you’re gonna end up doing is bug out to the place where people dont like strangers. Btw you all stand out like sore thumbs. Most rural areas ate private property and no one will tolerate trespassers.

I did forestry for years on BLM and Forest Service land.

You do have to be careful where you camp because of druggies and other campers.

Being aware of your surroundings is very important, and if you feel something is off, get the heck out of there.

Always be ready to move quickly.

Even when I was contracting to the government, I was limited to 2 weeks camping in any one spot.

I'm too old to bug out now, but if I were planning on it I would have a horse, or a pack animal, maybe 2 or more.

looks like they are taking down the food supply as we speak which they have been buying up and destroying for decades by destroying family farms, they just have to starve you to submission and let you fight until youre exhausted.

There’s no escaping what’s coming. Yo7 eight that or you don’t.

Your preps are for nothing.

You’ll see.

Enjoy each day like it’s your last.

Don’t live in fear.

Bet Noah was told the same thing.

Did noah have to swim to survive the flood? No? Right. Christ is the Ark, and we're trying to get as many on board before the tribulation starts as possible. If you are on board, you have nothing to fear.

Instead of buying beans and fake leather for a career as a doomsday knife maker, you can spend your money on a trip to Israel. Its getting insanely expensive, $10k for a full family trip from my place.

I wish you’d at least watch that video I shared with you! I don’t believe in the rapture anymore, it’s a mans doctrine to tickle ears and cause a falling away.

We will escape it all, no we won’t, we will be tried to see if we’re really YHWH’S children! Read all of Revelation chapter 6 and 7! We are going through the Tribulation, it says so in chapter 7.

Re: I made a bug out bag
Couple things you might consider is a well of some kind or at least a good supply of water nearby.

As you will need water for a garden.

And space for a goat or two for milk.

Chickens...
