Most “parents” of the older generations had kids so they had slave labor and unconditional love. Force the kids to work as much as possible and emotionally vampire off of them to replace the love their parents never showed them. I’d say those kids are entitled to whatever they can take from their slaver parents.

We live in a slave world. No one wants to work. This is Hell!!

i cant imagine her parents teaching her this.

Gf's (adult) kids ask her for money day in and day out. To be fair to her, she didn't raise them, they were taken by her ex and found her on their own when they became adults. But it's frustrating to see them prey on her happiness in finding them.

I haven't asked my mother for anything since I was 15 years old and got my first job, nor in the 30 years since. I don't even know how people can live with not sustaining themselves, much less believing it's someone else's job to do so.

tell me about it. ive had my sons friend here a year. he lost his job in january. been on his ass to get a job. took him 8 months. the job is 3 miles away. he wants to get his DL n asked me thew other day if he could use my car when he does!!
get a bicycle!!

"Lazy" is a choice. It's not someone else's fault.

i paid my mother to babysit my daughter back in the 90s. i had a govt job. mom got 250wk outta me. THEN. 90s. 6hrs a day. she netted better than daycare fees. least it was my mother yanno?

It could be seen as an extension of the abortion argument that there should be less kids... and if you're going to dare have one, you should be indebted for life.

This one is pretty anti-human at it's core.

It's also tied to the argument that parents should be blamed for the crimes their children commit, perhaps even into adulthood.

That comes down to the nature vs. nurture dichotomy.

Another thing it reminds me of is the hypocrisy of women being able to choose to have a child or abort it, but the man has no say and is stuck paying child support based on the whim of the woman.

The essence of it is, "children don't ask to be born into their circumstance, or born at all..."

Just some things that come to mind.

The propaganda and 24/ 7 competition to be the most needy or you don't win has turned them into perpetual victims.

Victims are weakened, they need constant support from their parents and then they get to graduate to the state.

my parents were depression.
im a b00muh i learned from them.
my kids been workn since 16 N my boys had their own apt at 16 - their choice. my daughter had hers in college.

ok i paid the rents for them & bought their cars - however they paid their utils & car insurance....bc unskilled labor yanno the pay sucks....but my boys busted their asses, 1 is a soux chef makn 25hr now...and they managed their money well.

i even bought the chef a house recently.

i dont consider this shit an entitlement bc they work n bust their asses n dont take me for granted. i consider it a gift. big difference.

Your beliefs need to be as pliable as changing events.

Total chaos can break out any time now, and it won't be like 9/11, a localized event exploited by the mass media to seem global, it will touch all our lives by way of shopping, finances, and everyday business.

Yeah I've been thinking about it since that thread too.

We are living in the midst of a social collapse. Marriage is gone, dating is a joke, the churches have collapsed, people barely connect except over social media. Morality has become a punchline to some forgotten joke.

Not much matters and if you aren't building a family you don't need a home and the future isn't going to be some great adventure.

We live in an enormously wealthy society and people increasingly don't much care about the things that really matter so they concentrate on what doesn't.

The problem is that they aren't willing to put much effort into those things because of course, they don't much care.

So they want things but they aren't interested in putting much effort into them and they don't have a moral compass.

this tude that the world owes them is astounding.

during the lockdown i saw a few "interview" vids.

these kids applyn for jobs.

one bitch told HR she couldnt work thursdays bc she got her nails done that day.

one guy said he couldnt work mondays bc.....wow,....he needed to recover from his wknd partying.

another said they couldnt do this ---couldnt do that ---

i dunno if these vids were real or not, but i was strongly appalled by the audacity of these kids dictating to an employer prehire.

Mandatory 2 years at 18, first year boot camp with a small wage and they get taught Civics and budgeting.

Second year pay rise and they spend half that in voluntary services , like coast guard or National guard .

All get trained in gun safely second year, job placement at the end.

Sorry , been eating BBQ sausages and chips , greasy fingers.

Anyway that will take the kinks out and NO fooken high heels.

i think we've gone to far to turn this around.

the state of the economy adds to it. nobody can afford rents so why work? move back in with mom n dad.

tuesday i hadda court case. client was a liberal. we were discussing this video.

she argued that its a fathers obligation to pay for his kids college. said she read an article where the father rented out the rooms in his house n he lived in basement --to pay his kids college tuition.

ok so....i told her that there was a court case i think in illinois back in 07 or 08....mens child support per state ENDS at age 18 therefore a fathers not obligated.

now while that admirable and a good dad, hes not obligated.

If things get bad, I suspect a lot of people will oddly be happier than they were.

People need something to struggle towards and they don't do well without it. We see this with the children of the very rich who crash and burn.

Right of passage to become a useful member of society.

yeah, they are lazy cause they won't flip burgers for 12 hours straight because they can't even get the energy or resources to eat enough nutrition to not be 'lazy'.

it IS somoene else's fault, they could have been providing 2000 calories diet at school, having the children work together to keep it clean (1hour every day after school - to build team work/permanent social connections)

INSTEAD pepsi machines and absolute garbage shiat food in the cafeteria, and a school store that sold candy.

It is the systems fault and the system knows that, but your in such a great position of not sleeping outside for even a day that you think it because the person is lazy, not because they got a criminal record because a bigoted police just happened to be present when a kid was fucking around momentarily.

If the policeman wasn't there, NOTHING would have happened and he could get a job at amazon, uber, etc, etc, but he can't, because they won't insure him.

stfu, there are 10 million reasons to not be part of the 'i need to work 40 hours a week' because they stole all the land and upcharged it 10000%.

use to be able to buy a house for 6k. 2 generations and its now unaffordable. Just take 100k in debt and by the time your old enough to be raising grandchildren you will finally have enough money for a 30 year mortgage.
