A friend of missing teen Kiely Rodni has spoken about the pair’s final phone call before her friend vanished from a campground party in California.

Samantha Smith, 18, tells The Independent she was the last person to speak with 16-year-old Kiely after midnight on Saturday.

A MISSING 16-year-old's loved ones fear the teen may have been trafficked after the campsite party from where she vanished was allegedly crashed by "sketchy, older guys".

Kiely Rodni was last seen at an end-of-school event at the Prosser Family Campground near the town of Truckee, California, just after midnight on Saturday.

When you see this in the story, it never ends well:

six hours before she was last seen at the party and six hours before her phone pinged for the last time.

You would think with teens everyone had a phone and took plenty of pictures. No one is coming forward which seems sketch to me. Also this

Since they went to a vehicle around 11 to charge their phones they were clearly using them during the party. You have to believe there are photos from multiple parties that include Kiely in them and most likely SM posts. Is the reason we have not seen any of this because LE or FBI is asking the family and those with photos not to release them publicly? Because the lack of photos of her from an event with 300 people is causing speculation that will not be helpful to the investigation. A massive search effort was underway Tuesday morning for the missing California 16-year-old Kiely Rodni, who vanished after telling family she was going to head home from a high school graduation sendoff early Saturday.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office has said they were investigating a possible abduction because the girl’s SUV was also unaccounted for. Rodni graduated from high school two years early, and it is unlike her to run away or fail to come home, according to her mother, Lindsey Rodni-Nieman.

A spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that investigators were still "exploring all possibilities" and confirmed that teens were using alcohol and drugs at the party.

It's like she vanished into thin air. Why would her friend let her drive drunk and when she talked to her mom wouldn't she sound intoxicated?

Hopefully that presser will help others search for her.
