The Beatles didn't even know what a B-Major chord was, BTW.

John, supposedly, took a bus all over Liverpool to connect with a guy who knew how to play a B-Major chord, on the guitar.

In other words, the Beatles had no concept of basic music theory.

Circle of Fifths, and Fourths.

It they did, they would have known how to play a B-Major chord.

Their music was written for them by people who did know music theory.

it's like speaking, reading writing ... you can use language without having theory of language, or theories about syntax, grammar, semantics, pragmatics or rhetoric ... you can use metonymy or synecdoche without knowing the terms etc

I've heard the story about Lennon not knowing B Major or B Dominant chord, and I don't believe it ... you don't need any theories to be able to play blues formula chords ... it's inconceivable that Lennon would have been such a moron

41.6% of the keys are black. If anything they are over represented. Should only be 13% black keys.

I can get some of it ...1st 3rd 5th and 7ths ...and then there's the whole time thing which I can't begin to understand.

Gimme a bass and some blues tho...

I plucked out most of them on my piano, to get a fair representation.

I also avoid playing all the G's, because they're Gay.
