Seth, channeled through Jane Roberts, said the animating consciousness comes and goes throughout pregnancy. Mostly in the later stages. And even immedyately after birth, the consciousness is not solidly attached to the small little body. First some, it takes a while.
But there is a spirit, or deva if you will, that is responsible for the body that is there, in charge of developing the organs and tissues. This spirit stays with the body for the entire life.
Devas are spirits, or elementals, that help every living thing. Plants face them. Trees. Insects. Animals.
They are separate but intertwined with the animating consciousness.
None of this info takes away from a person's innate right to bodily autonomy.
Every person has the right to decide what to do with his or her own body. Even if a fetus is growing inside or whether or not to take an experimental injection.
