true. but the general consensus on the head wound metaphor is more about a kingdom/nation than an actual individual. in other words, the heads of the beast are those nations participating in the beast world system. one of these "heads" is fatally wounded and then healed. the metaphor of the heads is about govt powers, not a person. maybe america is the nation that becomes fatally wounded and then healed causing the whole world to follow after the beast as in Rev 13:3?

Which makes him President until the House appoints him President.
