The moon is a spunge. The closer he lands in the sea, the more he's expanding as a result of the atmospherical H2O uptake.

Debunk that.!

Actually, and I haven't even watched the video, THEY DON'T GET BIGGER.

If you had actually tried to look at and measure it for yourself you would know this

Of course you don't do that, because you are a dumb flerf who only watches youtube videos and parrots the nonsense contained within.

Re: Why Do the Sun and Moon Get Bigger Near the Horizon?
I always figured it was because everything else gets smaller at the horizon and they are bigger than everything else.

When they are above, there's just no comparison.

Everything else you see is way up close to you, with nothing at any distance anywhere near the Sun and Moon for comparison, when they are above.

It is only when they get near distant objects that you know have faded to a fraction of their size that you have anything like a comparison between the apparent size of them and other things.

I might watch the video too.

Re: Why Do the Sun and Moon Get Bigger Near the Horizon?
anyone can go try this, compare your thumb at arms length to the moonand see how big the moon is when its near the horizon and then a few hours later when its high in the sky. ITS THE SAME, its an optical illusion that its lager near the horizon because its near objects your mind can relate size to vs in a giant open sea of nothing.

Its like a great dane near some football players on the bench is big, a great dane in the center of the field looks small

Clearly, your thumb is getting bigger closer to the horizon.

When, where and how was the radius of Earth established? It's NEVER been scientifically established what the radius of the Earth is.

It's all based the a assumption that Venus is the same size as Earth. Most people don't know this - even brainiacs, NASA-tards don't know this.

Re: Why Do the Sun and Moon Get Bigger Near the Horizon?
It's easy to measure the earth......

Just sail or drive north ....you will find that polaris rises above the horizon an equal amount for each equal length you travel.. .

This is geometrically impossible on a flat surface.....it can only happen on a circular surface with your target a great distance away..

Everytime you travel 69.12 miles....polaris will rise 1 degree.....

When you've traveled 1036.8 miles....polaris will be 15 degrees higher than when you started.....

Thats 1/24th of a full 360 degree circle...

1036.8 x 24 = 24883.2 miles.....the circumference of the earth.....

Divide by pi and you get the diameter of earth. ...

This is basic navigation 101....
This is what the astrolabe and sextant were invented for....and why the grid of equally distant lines of latitude was established....

Simply measure the angle of polaris above the horizon and you have your latitude....

Since the majority of flat earthtards don't have an 8th grade education, all a flat earthtard would have to do is to hire a licensed surveyor and have a geodetic survey completed to accomplish this goal. The licensed surveyor will strive for precision and accuracy, will make the corrections for C+R, the curvature of the earth plus lens refraction. A licensed surveyor is flawless and infinitely accurate in there measurements, day after day. Measurements that a flat earthtard will never be able to accomplish do to their bias, denial and ignorance. These measurement are repeatable on a global scale.

When a Flat earthtard tells an employer that they're indeed a flat earthtard, they are telling them that they are incapable of being educated, they rather sit around on their lazy ass looking at flat earth porn and lucky if they can count to 10.

Bounce a radio signal off the Moon and time the return and you get a distance of about 240,000 miles.

Measure the angle of the Moon in the sky at the same time as another observer in a separate location and do the math and you get a distance of about 240,000 miles.

We know the Sun is farther because the moon passes in front of it.

The 3,000 mile myth comes from the misuse of Eratosthenes experiment where he measured the circumference of the Earth. Flat Earthers claim you can take the intersection of the angles from the shadows to get the height of the Sun. But they NEVER add a third point and check that. Because they know if they do then it will NOT intersect with the other two.

You can't just make chit up or say that someone's wrong, or 99.9% of information is against a spherical earth without backing it up. You have to actually make and support points. You don't have high ground to demand information. Please take some time to find some specific evidence.
