OK I was curious about ink running, and did a test using 3 different inks and a bowl of water. Guess what - to my surprise, paper floats even an hour later, even after I pressed it down to the bottom of the bowl it still floated back up - and depending on the kind of ink it might run- roller ink runs - sharpie and ball point do not.

Add to that, the handwriting from the two toilets is not from the same person, the torn edges on both sets of ripped up notes are dark, and the R on the right picture is surprisingly undisturbed by the tearing - I call photoshop bullshit on this ridiculous attempt by Maggie Haberman.

Add to this ridiculousness, the difference between 'presidential records' and 'personal records' is determined by "in the course of conducting activities which relate to or have an effect upon the carrying out of the constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties of the President". The man is free to have a diary, journals or notes that are not presidential records.

This is a really bad joke being played upon the people who will not take a moment to read definitions or even study a photo of two toilets.....

Can't believe someone either follows Trump around and takes photos of the toilet he supposedly just used - or photoshops notes in toilets and shares them with the press - who buys it hook, line, and sinker. The world has literally gone crazy if that is our reality.

Also the whitehouse restroom is not quite the quality I would expect to see in that whitehouse.

EDIT - Another hour later - after pressing these to the bottom again - and they are still floating.
