User ID: 77750652 United States 08/06/2022 10:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Some press is attacking the Venture Capital investor family Andreessen in Atherton for their public comment on opposing the new California regulation which is about, some say enforcing, more public below-market rate housing in rural village style single family home neighborhoods. That's strange, as when looking up the family's public _political_ donations their comment appears to be in line with this statement, so no bigotry here I think, and I congratulate them for their courage to oppose this central dictating one-size-fits-all regulation in California. Because that regulation won't help the public, and won't really help those looking for more affordable housing in those locations. If you don't believe that previous sentence, just look up from which international locations people are (or want to) moving to California, escaping their homeland conditions. Many from countries which already have similar central enforcements existing since decades. Looks like a public scapegoat has been found and is now exploited.
