CEO says TWO-THIRDS of ammunition deliveries have gone MISSING with UPS

That should be easy to track then... 2 out of 3 go missing so its not like youll have to track 10000 packages to find 1...

Hide an Iphone or any of the numerous trackers out there in 100 packages and youll find where they werent properly delivered to.

This isnt rocket science...

Yep, as someone posted here last week about now seeing lots of ghetto type people at gun shows, a very new phenomenon.
Re the UPS ammo parcels not being delivered, it would NOT surprise me at all if employees are tipping-off their homies and girlfriends as to ammo deliveries and then they follow the drivers (or else the drivers are IN ON IT) so they know when and where to steal the package of ammo.

A black driver will be implicated.
Riots will ensure.
Charges will be dropped.
Ammo will continue to disappear.

Ya don't think it's cause of the labelings they're required to put on the trailers transporting it has to do with anything, do ya? Ya know, those little diamond shaped "warning" symbols ya see on the tail and sides of a trailer hauling "goods."

It makes sense. 2/3 can't be just from a few random employees stealing. That has to be a pretty big organization to pull that off.

UPS is probably involved & being paid to look the other way. Isn't their service insured? Someone has to pay for that.

All that ammo is insured so UPS is the one loosing. They have to pay for the ammo and shipping again.

Really simple to solve. Prepare package and place GPS tracker inside one of the boxes of ammo factory sealed and watch where it goes. Highly likely to be someone reselling and not just someone anti gun

I just talked to my son (former UPS driver) and he said drivers would have to have inside help to get the ammo out. All UPS facilities are completely fenced.

Boycott UPS. They are obviously being funded by the someone to do this. Let the funder(s) carry the financial burden until UPS ceases to exist.

They have to pay for the ammo that is lost. Every package has $100 minimum free. You may even have to insure ammo above that due to hazardous cargo.

And

They have to refund the shipping.

So you would still get your ammo but they would be paying for it plus shipping.

Which makes NO sense for them to steel it or not to want to stop it.

It isn't the labeling on the semi-trailer that gives it away, it's the mandatory labeling on the packages themselves. Any package with small arms ammo inside has to be shipped ground only (no air shipping services allowed) and it also has to have a "ORM-D" sticker on the side of the box which designates the contents as an "Other Regulated Material". Other regulated materials are a pretty small category which also includes lithium ion cell phone batteries, aerosol cans, etc.

UPS employees can easily tell which ORM-D packages are likely ammo because they will be quite heavy for their size and also usually rattle quite a bit if shaken. That makes ammo packages extremely easy to identify and steal as it moves through the UPS system.

There is a real solution...How about the stupid manufacturers just don't ship their products in packaging that says, Winchester. Why the need to 'advertise' on the shipping packaging is just stupid.
