Putin in the year 2000 [ link to www.orthodox.net (secure)] and after a long discussion about why Putin wears a cross that his mother gave him, King asks him if he believes in God (as a “higher power”). Putin’s response is certainly not that of a Christian: PUTIN: I believe in human beings. I believe in his good intentions. I believe in the fact that all of us have come to this world to do good. And if we do so, and if we do so together, then success is awaiting for us. And both with regards to our relations as people to people, or inter-state relations. And most important, we will achieve the ultimate goal, comfort in our own heart. God comes First |

Report Copyright Violation | Re: Putin Admits He Doesn’t Really Believe in God If Larry didn't ask him whether he believes in God but asked him if he believes in a higher power then the leader of a nation could reasonably think and humbly say that he is not the head of power but the people collectively, which Putin seemed to have done. |

Remember putin just got in as leader, and he may of just ducked the question. Putin went onto building an enormous amount of churches in russia. So, i doubt what he said there was totally accurate, and may of been playing politics. |
