Hiring in July was far better than expected, defying signs that the economic recovery is losing steam, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.

Nonfarm payrolls rose 528,000 for the month and the unemployment rate was 3.5%, easily topping the Dow Jones estimates of 258,000 and 3.6%, respectively.

Are these "new" jobs? I guess not, but instead low paying "service" jobs returning after Obiden and Fauci destroyed that industry.

Oil?

Easy,,, no demand and plenty of supply, cost has nowheres to go but down.

3.5% is one point less than the "natural rate" but does it truly reflect the number of unemployed or does it reflect only those without jobs that are searching vs those who gave up?

I "hope" these are truly signs of health but this gooberment lies like a rug in order to improve their optics all the while ALL of us are still hanging on by a thread or worse.

Be honest with yourself ,,, are you better off today than 4 years ago? Is your future as bright as it was looking those short 4 years ago?

better stat:

ask yourself are you better off now than you were 2-3 years ago?

i would bet i know the actual answer, and i'll also bet the OP will NOT answer honestly cause he is a famous GLP libtard troll

of course, this is coming from OP, the guy thats celebrating that oil has gone down a couple bucks per barrel and is still paying over two times as much at the pump and 2-3 times as much for all other necessary items like food, but its ok because orange man is gone.
 Quoting: 1-2-Follow

Being a farmer yes way better off now than 2,3 years ago. Being organic had something to do with it for prices.

And with crude oil crashing if there's still high prices at the pump that's corporate greed at its finest.
 Quoting: NDFarm

lmao

of course you'd say that. just as expected. the typical reddit "its ALL The corporations fault, nothing to do with government unless its the guy i don't like thats president!" excuse.

i live in a community that is nothing but farmers. parents farm, family farms, etc. not organic, but full on mass production of food for huge food distributors and companies.

you're full of shit.

we didn't add more jobs. We lowered the number of available workers. Death and destruction cause by the clot shot has decimated the work force. Doesn't matter what pay is. Immigrants will eventually fill those positions.

The only people who are as well off today vs 3 years ago are the 1%, they dont care about inflation or job loss because those are two inputs that will not affect them.

But,,, if you are working for a living your life is upside down right now,,, everyday purchases are over 50% higher and your income has not risen even the messily 3% annual raises you received in the past.

Brandon's administration said that inflation for 2021 was 6%.

It wouldn't take 5 minutes in a court room to prove that was grossly understated or in other words a "Bald Face Lie".

Now with 3 contracting quarters for GDP, Brandon's administration still won't recognize the US economy is in recession.

Are you still going to believe economic reports from Brandon's administration?

These numbers only matter if the everyday American feels them, if that makes sense. If the administration is cooking the numbers, everyday Americans will be able to see through the charade because they know what the reality of eking by feels like.

If these numbers represent an actual positive pivot to an improving economy, then good. But can anyone point to a policy or decision by this administration that would lead to an improving economy? The answer is "no", and that is why job numbers like this really don't make any sense.

That was the same case with Trump's massive record employment claims. All those blackjobs he bragged about were fast food workers

Factually false.

Trump increased Manufacturing by 500,000 jobs as an example.

Trump had an increase in Nat. Household Income of $4500 in three years.

In the 16 years of Bush/Obama, Nat. Household Income increased a total of $1600

All this is is people scurrying back to get all 5hr low psying jobs that wete unfilkrf got 3 years now that their free money is running oit and things cost more spending is shrinking and this will just force employers to cut the jobs they just hired. This will reverse quickly. It's a convoluted report being used to get a push before elections.

I charge what the market is for organic. It somewhat follows conventional grain market. But at the start of the pandemic in 2020 the organic market was almost non existing, for grains anyway as people cut back. Fast forward to early 2022 all grains took off more than doubling and the organic market took off to. Seeing I held my organic grain for 2 years yes I made a killing in the markets farming.
