I'd be more shocked if I found out it wasn't.

I view Russia as a kindred competitor not an enemy. It is the Brits that stirred the hatred pot with the US for hundreds of years. I was hoping by now that Russia and the USA could put their political differences aside and in cooperation start squashing perhaps the ten most serious problems all people suffer in this world. I mean serious problems.

One thing Russia has that is unique is their perception to reality in physics and medical science since they didn't suffer the West's academic corruption in creating intellectual fantasies in order for the professional academic community to secure grants and other funding (Climate science).
