The modern people of Iraq have nothing in common with the people who inhabited Iraq thousands of years ago.
It's the same story in Egypt. These countries were conquered by Muslim invaders during the Middle Ages by Muslim forces and although the people call themselves Egyptian or Iraqui, never forget they are nothing but the ancestors of brutal Muslim invading forces.
