One time a handful of years ago before I started incorporating mushrooms into my yearly "mental health maintenance," I ate a large sum. I had heard that drinking coffee while on your journey would inhibit it somehow, so every time I went for the coffee pot, I told myself that coffee was bad. About the tenth time I went for that coffee pot, I was literally laughing at myself in the kitchen saying, "Coffee is bad!" out loud and my gosh, I can't keep away from this coffee pot. The next day, even the thought of coffee made me physically ill. I could not drink coffee anymore. I was so pissed! I had to remove the sugar from my sugar/cream coffee routine in order to drink it again. I haven't touched sugar since. Thank the Gods for my freaking coffee though!
