Crew Dragon has been working just fine the last couple years, we don't need to hitch a ride. We're on the 5th crewed mission to ISS for NASA astronauts (counting the DM-2 test flight), there's already been 1 commercial mission to ISS (AX-1) and 1 commercial free-flying mission (Inspiration 4). Cygnus can perform reboosts of ISS (Starliner as well if they could ever get it up and running) but will need to find a new booster (though it has already flown on Atlas as well). Russia also just agreed to start doing seat swaps on Dragon, with cosmonauts flying on Dragon in exchange for Soyuz bringing up NASA astronauts. So they're talking out of both sides of their mouth right now. |

What exactly is the point in having Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos use their absurd amounts of wealth to fly people to the old and busted ISS which lacks any aesthetic as publicity stunts for? All that money they have is stolen, one created a monopoly and snuffed out thousands of American businesses and the other one was born into an African diamond mine and used his wealth to run scams on different industries and steal all their money. Am I the only one that finds it all just a little insulting? |
