Most of us understand and already know the basics of what he talks about. The 50+ crowd got the basics from parents, church, maybe even schools if you were in a rural or small town school.

Peterson is a highly intelligent person diving deep into the muck with a profound understanding of the dangers that society is heading into. That has to be depressing and maddening. Heading to a call to teach others and becoming financially entwined with all that goes with the books, speaking engagements, etc. probably provides little relief from the task.

I can just point at a Pride Parade and tell my wife, look at that, society going to hell. Go figure. Peterson has taken on the task of doing something about it. Most of us wouldn't even know where to start and he's neck deep in it.
