You know how science is starting to talk about "gut bacteria" and this thing they call probiotics?

Nonsense.. Meat, Potatoes, Veggies, GRAVEY, Butter (lots), Olive oil (good), glass of wine and a good, nightly romping with your husband/wife.

Sesly, that's the way my grand parents and great grandparents etc ate and all lived to be over 100 and never had cancers or weird ailments.

The romans gave out daily rations of fish sauce (fermented fish in barrels) to their armies.

seemed to work for them, as they are still talked about.

i'd google the number but it's probably a randomly generated amount, lets just guess they gave you an urn of wine and an urn of fish sauce and you hauled that around with your spear and shield or whatever was your weapon.

why is fermented fish sauce so good for you? well it won't make you sick as its already done most of its biological cycle.

besides for that who knows, probably like other grown foods have spinning micronanoelements that you need to grow properly.

daily fish sauce has made it into alot of other cultures cuisines, like probably all of them.

no fish sauce they wouldn't probably have had an empire at all. the salt content alone probably stopped alot of gut problems.

Have you ever tried foie gras??? If you have, you wouldn't of dedicated this much time to being an OP.

It was $100 appetizer that I just had to try at a fancy restaurant, until I tried it. The texture made me gag & the smell...oh the smell. this unique robust stench of cooked bird vomit mixed with intestines hang out a 2 week old road kill animal.

BTW, the magical food must be eaten in very small quantities. I have some 2 or three times a day. Some people would consume what would be a week supply for me in one sitting--because they are stupid gluttons that will likely die from over consumption of the super food.
