The ancient Egyptians and Romans knew the secret to a healthy diet and they passed it on to the French
"...let’s talk about the health benefits of foie gras. There are three major types of nutrients that our bodies need to grow and maintain themselves: carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Sugars can cause diabetes. Some sugars, like fructose, are actually fairly toxic. Complex carbohydrates, like starch, are rapidly broken into sugars (the process actually starts in the mouth), so they can be equally problematic. Proteins, when broken down, yield nitrogenous waste products, like uric acid, which can crystallize in the joints and cause gout.

Fats come in two varieties: unsaturated and saturated. Unsaturated bonds are less stable than saturated ones and can react with other compounds resulting in toxicity. So the safest and healthiest food that we could possibly eat is saturated fats. This of course goes against the whole dietary consensus that arose after World War II – but that consensus is completely wrong, and is unraveling.

Getting most of your energy from fat is also the easiest way to stay lean, paradoxical as it sounds. If you are at all attuned to your body (so I am not talking about pathological conditions), what happens when you eat fat is that you get satiated very quickly. So if you eat a modest amount of fat as part of your meal, and eat it slowly, preferably accompanied by good wine and good conversation, you give your body an opportunity to send you the signal that things are good and you’ve had enough. So you end up consuming less energy. And that’s how you stay lean..." [less than 50%] [link to thisviewoflife.com (secure)]

You stay lean from destroying your body. Climb mountains, clear land, dig holes, and other heavy labor.
The Romans loved lead poisoning.
So did the French. From bullets

Eating liver from a healthy animal is very good for you, but foie gras is from a diseased liver.

The French have known how and what to eat to remain fit and healthy for centuries and do not rely on 3rd world shitholes for any gastronomic advice, thank you very much!

QUIT BUYING INTO BIG PHARMA DISINFORMATION!!!!

Fructose is the HEALTHIEST of all sugars, healthier than honey! In the 80s, fructose was sold as healthy sugar, as it was used then. It was always health promoting. Then, all of a sudden, a few quacks started publishing online disinformation about fructose. What are you smoking to believe such tripe?!

QUACK BERG IS A BIG PHARMA SHILL!!! There I said it! None of his advice ever works. He's in cahoots with Klaus and Gates! He's the pioneer of promoting the stupid idea of FASTING and 1 meal a day.

HELLO PREPARING YOU FOR FAMINE!!!
!
Quack Berg's advice is very dangerous, particularly if you have hypo anything, especially hypoglycemia. BEWARE OF QUACK ERIC BERG!!!

Your title is clickbait. Your post has nothing whatsoever to do with ancient mummies or cordons bleus. What's more, if anyone was to teach any other country about food, it would be the French, who are #1 in gastronomy and have bar none the best food on the planet!

Extra virgin olive oil is the key to longevity and good health. The leaves fight disease. Use types with high polyphenols like from Morocco. Check out blue zones. The longest living culture has a 3 month fast only eating dried apricots blended.

Yeah, and I don’t want to eat an animal that was force-fed and lived in misery with digestive problems it’s whole life (and humans know how digestive problems can be a true misery) so it would have a bigger liver.

At least most of the animals we eat can at least enjoy eating no matter how miserable their lives are, but with foie gras they don’t even get that.

Have always been fascinated by Egypt, and Egyptians.

I dont think those who reside in Egypt today are really the true ancestors of those great achievers that built huge Pyramids.

How do you go from building wonders of the World to living in a modern day shit hole.

Like the Bullshit PC narative to make Black people feel better.By saying whites are descendants out of Africa.

Meanning Blacks are our Teachers.........yeah sure.

Look at the state of Africa. And they try make us believe this is the cradle of civilization where it all began.

You know how science is starting to talk about "gut bacteria" and this thing they call probiotics?

Well, as it turns out, the French diet is not really entirely due to the red wine and healthy goose fat, it is due to the unique French sexual practice of ANAL-LINGUS where it is customary to lick each other's anus during sex.

This gives them the beneficial gut bacteria that goes into the brain and makes them happy all the time until the government raises taxes.

Fish and Veggies is the way to go. Some carbs if Your not fat.
If You are fat skip the carbs. Rice Pilaf, potatoes and Spaghetti ali ool come to mind. It's expensive but I hunt fish, lobster, crabs and clams in the warm weather, so it's not so much expensive as fun for me. I used to hunt Stripers and Tuna, gas is too much.

I know mercury, old anyway.

The real trick is to learn to think critically; ask better and more questions. Don't accept anything at face value. Be sure you're making healthy decisions, getting adequate rest and spending proper time reflecting on things.

Another modernist myth.

The ancients were healthier, happier, sexier, smarter and spiritually stronger than we are...built the greatest civilizations the world has ever seen...laid the foundation of our present way of life...and did it all without vaccines or a shitty diet.
