How Can People In The Midwest and The South
who experienced 118 degree temps today deny that climates are obviously changing?

UK experiences temps that were predicted in future casts of 2050….

Are you brain dead or have you all really drank the denial koolaid to your own detriment? You don’t have long to wake up and prepare.

Why do you think only people in the midwest and south are smart enough to realize that the climate is not changing just because it gets hot in the summer time?

Smart people like that are everywhere.

It was 109 the day I was born, according to Mom's bible.

Back in the 50s.

It's summertime in the US.

Wisconsin was both a glacier and a jungle during the development of the earth. Well before humans were here. People that believe we are more powerful to affect the planet than the entire universe pulling on the planet are not sane.

Re: How Can People In The Midwest and The South
I've lived in the same county for all of my 44 years.

I've always kept up with the weather. I work outdoors and garden.

In Arkansas we've had unusually cool Summers for over a decade. In the 90s and 2000s we had over a dozen days above 100 pretty much every year. One year we broke 100 36 days straight.

We had burn bans every year.

Then sometime around 2010 it all changed. Summers were wetter and days above 100 ranged from 0 to 3 days a year. More humidity though.

So now it's hot and dry this year. I've seen this before. Old timers will talk about how the worst they ever saw was 81.

The only denier is you. Cycles moron. Why are record high's set in the 1800's? Was it SUV's back then? No, just normal cycles.

We don't deny the climate is changing. We deny that humans and cow flatulence is responsible for it.

The climate would change whether or not we're here and no amount of global wealth redistribution is going to change that.

Summer of 2000, Lawrence Ks. It was the hottest place in the nation two weeks running. Hotter than Death Valley. 109° one day I remember. We still haven’t broken records from the 30’s. Pffft. Summer. Hot. Keep your mitts off my V8.

It was hotter in the late 80s. In 2012 we had a heat dome that extended all the way up to Minnesota in 110 plus heat it's called weather. It is not unusual for Missouri and Texas to have 110 plus degrees this time of year not unusual at all.
And here we are staring at each other through an electronic............ error goto ram

That was the year Arkansas went above 100 every day for 36 days straight and a total of something like 44 days

That was the year of my first heat stroke too.

House foundations and brick walls were cracking everywhere.

People were happy to see days of 102 because 107 was pretty common.

Wisconsin had very thick glaciers that did not melt in the summer as recently as 15,000 years ago.

Re: How Can People In The Midwest and The South
trying to create hysteria over weather has been an age old
ploy. they told us that we were going to freeze to death
back in the 70's. they practiced and practiced while honing their
skills, then your generation was born and they finally found
some suckers.

al gore played it all his life with lectures and books, then
he would get in his jet plane and crap jet fumes all over
the people who he preaches to. he would then arrive at one
of his mansions, crank up that air conditioner and tell everyone that
their carbon footprint is too big.

you can hear so much bullshit until it causes you to ignore it
as the usual nonsense.
