Convince me not to take the Shingles Vaccine

for a great percentage of the population avoid stress in your life and you'll find shingles will be a non issue.

How do you know what they REALLY put in the needle?

The shingles shot is just covid-19 shot for the rest of your life don't take any vaccines or injections

I'm over 50 and got the smallpox vaccine so I should have no worries.

Maybe you should get it, I dunno.

Forget shingles, if you've got the money and plan on keeping the house, use ceramic tiles. It's a great look, and with a little maintenance will last into the next century.

My mother had a serious reaction to the shingles vaccine. She ultimately was okay but never went back to get the second shot, lol.

I have no intentions of taking ANY injections. The same companies that make all the other injections, made the Covid Vax...not interested in what they're peddling.

However, these researchers chose to report a 48 percent percent relative risk reduction. This kind of reporting should be illegal, especially given the exuberant amount of money spent on these vaccines, as well as their potential side effects.

I don’t need to convince you of anything. Please please take it already so I can have one less loser to deal with when the time comes.

i've never met anyone, with the shingles, who was not extremely

In my case, Shingles was easy to treat.
For anyone who's interested:

When I discovered blisters on the bridge of my nose on a Monday in June, 2012, I called my dermatologist. I assumed a bug bit me outside when I was gardening. I got an appointment for Wednesday. When severe pain occurred in my left ear that night, or on Tuesday, I googled, "Blisters and Pain." SHINGLES!

I researched vitamins used to aid Shingles. Got the list, and on my way home from the doctor's office on Wednesday, I stopped at the Vitamin Shoppe. Dr. gave me a prescription for Valtrex and an ointment for the blisters.

Besides my multivitamin, I took:

* L-Lysine 500mg 2x/day (on an empty stomach...do not take with milk)
* B-12, 1000 mcg, sublingual (under the tongue) 2x/day
* Vitamin C (Ester C) with Bioflavonoids, 500-1000 mg 2x/day taken with the L-Lysine
* 10,000mg Beta Carotene
* Zinc Picolinate 25mg/day
* Vitamin D3 1000mg.... I take this everyday anyhow...recommended by my physician

Since the blisters were on the bridge of my nose, the dermatologist advised an immediate appointment with my eye doctor. Thursday I saw my eye doctor. They gave me another appointment for days later. Follow ups were scheduled for days later, then 2x a week, then every month.

My blisters healed within days. Pain subsided in a few days (I took Aleeve or Advil)

The secret is Valtrex and vitamins ASAP. The SAME treatment is for Bell's Palsy. Bell's Palsy is also caused by a virus.

IF you suspect Shingles (blisters and pain), go to the ER or an urgent care clinic IMMEDIATELY and get a prescription for Valtrex. I had no idea what I had when I saw the blisters, so I had to wait two days for the doctor's appointment.

And take those vitamins!

Also, I was NOT stressed when I developed shingles, so not sure what happened. And I would never elect to take any vaccines. But that's me.

Well my doc said it wasn't that necessary. His stats' only half of those who had pox were in danger of shingles. The vax only protects 25%of those vaccinated. So your chance of getting shingles is small and the vax isn't that effective. If others in your family got shingles...get the vax otherwise pass. I passed.

um sorry not sorry, but have seen , numerous commercials on tv, last yr., from lawfirms, ya know like they always do?, about how the shingles vaxccinne, causes dah, shingles, all vaccines, for many many decades kill immune system, you are double minded, , now those commercials were far and few, but i saw them, and i knew this to be the truth many years ago like all else our false fakeass healthcare system, but hey, if ya lazy, and trust in man, go ahead. , free will. i always knew, and the commercials, i saw, numerous times, on local tv., , just bolstered my feelings.

I just searched and found this thread. One of my family members is out of town and had to go to urgent care in Chicago for Shingles today.
He's coming to my house to recover. I've had chicken pox though, so I guess I'm good.

I had shingles when I was 18.

It lasted like a week and went away... never came back.

Don't trust any of them from this point onwards. They probably all have the same shit in them now, even the flu shots. I have never been vaccinated for anything and I am doing just fine.

I don't give a shit what anyone takes anymore. I encourage everyone but myself to take any and all vaxxes now. If they ever do a free fries or cheeseburger for the vaxx again, that would be the best time.

You implied you a having the outbreak now, so it's way to late for a vax.

Just deal with it and it will pass eventually. it's not a permanent situation and they have medications now for it.

If you are considering taking it, please be aware that it is a live vaccine, and make sure your doc knows every last thing about your health status. The shingles vaccine can mess you up if you have immune issues. Also, while I promise what I said is true, the last thing you want to do is ask a bunch of strangers on the internet.
