Especially menthol cigarettes. I wonder what the correlation is?

they try to say that menthol are 'flavored' cigarettes and more attractive to young people.

when my friends and I were teenagers and experimenting with smoking, almost no one liked menthol. I really doubt that's the reason.

To be honest weed is what helped and cigs feel like they are killing me.

I consume a large amount of nicotine daily, switched from cigarettes to vaping in 2013. I work in the industry, I basically get paid to vape at this point.

I got covid back in November '21. Symptoms (aside from loss of smell / taste) abated after 3 days. I was back to full health (again, besides loss of taste / smell) within 5 days.

Have you ever used tobacco and then quit? The withdrawal is terrible. That alone is good enough reason to stay away from it, unless you like being a slave to addiction.

Supposedly it makes smoking less harsh, therefore more attractive, and as such increases the likelihood of addiction. This might be one rare semi-plausible instance where regulators are actually trying to do something useful.

Todays vapes that are legit dont have that shit. A guy I read about recently that had bad lungs from cigarettes switched to vapes and his Dr said his lungs are now clear. His lung exam has been clear for four years. Ive read about 10+ year legit vapers they said their lung readings were clear

Noticed this too. Places like New Zealand are outright banning smoking.

Is it because they want covid to kill off the population first and they know nicotine is the cure?
