Which was worse - LBJ or Woodrow Wilson? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 3722616 United States 07/17/2022 12:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Both were bad but Wilson by far the worst. Got the US into WW1 after running on a neutrality platform. Expanded the powers of the president in defiance of the Senate. Those expanded powers enabled Johnson to do what he did. Sold citizens into slavery to the international banking cartel with the federal reserve act, which is how he got away with the others. The same cartels that brought you covid, war in Ukraine,'climate change', critical race theory, censorship, vaccines,'build back better', the ones trying to sell the one world government bullshit. |

Wilson only got us in to WW 1 and the Federal Reserve to rape the country. Feel free to add to the complaint list. Quoting: FlashBuzzkill Lest anyone think this is a race complaint it isn't, it's conditioning. I had black friends at school in the 70's, friends at work in the 80 -90's, we all cared about the same things. Generations of welfare have made people criminal, ingrates, uneducated and proud of it, rap is gang culture and illegal drugs the only way to get large amounts of $. Violence was not the norm, we had successfully integrated society but they have been driving wedges in society to turn us against each other. This only refers to generalities, not individuals who can always determine their own actions Don't forget that one of the reasons that LBJ had JFK killed was because Kennedy was starting to lay the groundwork for the elimination of the Fed (he authorized silver-backed currency again a few months before his murder). |

User ID: 80483752 United States 11/25/2022 04:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is a worthwhile question. Wilson was an academic and an idealist. He may have been a very smart guy. He should have stayed at Princeton. I can't think of a single good thing he did as President. The bad things that he did are many. In that respect, he set a new precedent for the number of bad (many of them enduringly bad) policies that a President could institute. Franklin D. must've found him inspirational. LBJ was a professional politician. We've had plenty of them, but LBJ may have been among the most capable, if not the most capable. He was a master, and I don't mean that in a complimentary way. His cunning Great Society strategy alone is enough to condemn his Presidency. He shouldn't have allowed our interference in Vietnam to escalate, but (not to defend him) I think it was pre-ordained. Where Wilson was an idealist with his head in the clouds, Johnson was outright evil. Wilson gets bonus demerits for suffering a stroke and pretending to remain in command, rather than stepping down. But that may have been his handlers' work. Johnson wins this contest. |
