Because if it doesn't, this whole thread is wrong. . We have to use the Heebrew calendar which their new year starts on Rosh hashannah which starts sept/October of each year. This year it changes sept 25-27th 2022 . The jubilee year doesn’t start until 10 days later on day of atonement therefore the jubilee goes from oct 5 2022 until day of atonement in 2023. So the jubilee is in the beginning of the next full 7 year shmitah block. This means the jubilee is the 50th year and the 1 st year of the new 7 year shmitah cycle  Okay. That answers my question. FWIW, I was reading online and I read that they do not currently celebrate or observe the Jubilee and haven't for thousands of years. Do you think tttthhhhheeeeeyyyyyy would want to actually practice the jubilee. They didn’t want anything to do with the 10 commandments. Or Jesus. Get a clue. time is short,seek your maker. |
