Uvalde 'Punisher' screen-lock cop is HUSBAND of teacher killed in school was DISARMED and kicked out of building trying to engage shooter
A Texas politician has identified the Uvalde cop seen checking his phone in the early stages of the Robb Elementary School massacre as the husband of slain teacher Eva Mireles.

She was one of the 21 people who were killed by crazed gunman Salvador Ramos at Robb Elementary School on May 24.

In the footage of the shooting that was leaked on July 12, the officer was shown checking his phone at 11.38am while standing in the hallway.
...

According to an official timeline of the shooting released by the Associated Press, at 11.48am, Ruiz was told outside the school that his wife had been shot.

That is when he was restrained by other officers as he tried to re-enter to take down the gunman.

I hate to say this, mostly because people will accuse me of glowing like usual, but it appears that the new rules of the game are as follows.

1. If you hear there's a shooting in progress at a school your kids go to, you need to get there with a gun and friends with guns FAST.

2. This is the controversial part but it needs to be said because they're taking advantage of people's shock response to keep them in inaction...
You need to give the cops one chance to stand aside or immediately go in.

3. If they don't, you need to go through them and handle it yourself.

Everyone here knows this is going to keep happening and law enforcement is going to keep enforcing cordons to keep people from rescuing their kids and give the shooter ample time to murder more kids.

As parents and even as upstanding community members (I don't have kids) it's our job to protect the children of our towns from ANYONE who is putting them in danger of being killed!

Yes, even if it's the people whose "job it is to serve and protect".

This has happened enough times now and went down consistently in this way that this is what we should expect from the people who are supposed to be protecting us.

This means that we're not only on our own but may in fact find ourselves in direct opposition to those people.

And yeah that means our lives will be forfeit for doing what needs doing but that's sorta the price of living in a functional first world society that you want to keep that way.

Personal sacrifice is something we have all been conditioned to avoid at all costs by the media schools and etc.

But frankly there's things that are worth dying or going to prison for life over. And protecting the children who are our future is one of them.

I don't like making this post but I think it needs to be said.

I think that the fear of speaking freely about issues like this they have instilled in us is a large part of how they keep getting away with these things.

They have done everything they can to aromize us and make us feel alone vulnerable and like we can't trust anyone nor should we stick our necks out for others...

That kind of thinking gets you a society like china's where people will drive around the crumpled body of a small child in the road.

None of us want that

Why does the timestamp at the very beginning of the video say march 22? Are they trolling? What gives?

He was one of the good guys, who tried to go in and was stopped cold. Not surprisingly the anti-cop types jumped on him and made for an issue about the wallpaper on his phone than they did about the kids who were murdered, much like they put all the focus on the gun instead of on the crime and killer himself. We've seen this before; cops will intentionally hold other officers back and will even go so far as to draw their guns on fellow officers simply because some higher up told them to. I get coordinating a response, but this broke every rule in the book. There were more than enough officers there, they were well armed and wearing body armor, there was no need to hold them back so the tactical squad could play navy seal to justify their budget. The officers who tried to go in should clearly not face consequences, especially this guy, he's suffering as it is, but the officers who held them back should be fired and prosecuted and so should their superior. This revelation, that this officer was listening to his wife dying along with a classroom full of kids was held back and forced out of the building, only worsens the cowardice on display in this case. It also the worsens the failure of the officers responsible for holding him back, and that of their superiors, to do their goddamn jobs.

It's the news media, they wanted extra footage, so they edited it into the real footage. It is from the day of the drill, this is the same thing the news media has pulled in the past and they should be held responsible somehow. It's disgraceful to even create the appearance that this was a hoax or for them to try to use it for political gain, which is exactly what they're doing. The scam is to get all the right wingers up in arms screaming "it's a hoax!" and then use that to discredit left wing opposition. The only thing more disgusting than the news media, are the officers who held back those who tried to go in and stop the shooter.
