Trump 2024 Administration : Top 10 Priorities

#1 Adjourn Congress Article II, Section 3 both grants and constrains presidential power. This Section invests the President with the discretion to convene Congress on “extraordinary occasions,” a power that has been used to call the chambers to consider nominations, war, and emergency legislation. It further grants the President the authority to adjourn Congress whenever the chambers cannot agree when to adjourn, a power that no President has ever exercised.

#4 Preemption of Insurrection The Insurrection Act of 1807 is a United States federal law[1] that empowers the President of the United States to deploy U.S. military and federalized National Guard troops within the United States in particular circumstances, such as to suppress civil disorder, insurrection, or rebellion.

#5 Arrest Enemies of the State (Treason Clause) Article III Section III. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attained.

#7 Congressional Term Limits Article V. 34 States Can Bypass Congress to Propose a Congressional Term Limits Amendment!
The U.S. Constitution provides the state legislatures authority to propose amendments without the approval of Congress. To make it happen, 34 state legislatures must pass resolutions to call a convention for the states to propose a congressional term limits amendment.

#8 National Constitutional Carry Constitutional carry means that the state’s law does not prohibit citizens who can legally possess a firearm from carrying handguns, (openly and/or in a concealed manner) thus no state permit is required. Sometimes, constitutional carry may be conditional such as in those states that have no laws prohibiting the open carry of a handgun but which require a permit to carry the handgun concealed.
