DeSantis says, "We have taken action to protect the integrity of our elections by making ballot harvesting a felony, strengthening voter ID, eliminating drop boxes, and banning Zuckerbucks." This is a snippet on twatter of his speech. Applause to the FL legislators and Desantis! Dated July 11th as posted but I don't know the date of the speech. I'll try to track down the full vid. [ link to mobile.twitter.com (secure)] . where is Brian Kemp? . Right?! As another AC indicated, Abbott, too, specifically on machines, ballot drop boxes, and voter ID. Though, mail-in ballots in TX, which I think are limited, now require ID for both the ballot request and ballot submission. Drive-thru voting is now illegal, but overall it's like they'll give a little to placate us, especially during Abbott's reelection year, but nothing near comprehensive changes to secure the process. .
