They are usually set to land at Fairchild Air Base. Quoting: Osmium76 We don't hear much military fighter traffic take this flight path. We just had some fast moving jets fly over moving at mach speed headed south by southwest. They were really moving fast! It's been years since I have heard a jet moving that fast. I didn't catch sight of them. Already gone by the time I got outside to take a look. Tree's and sun also blocked my view. The first one was the loudest because it was directly overhead. It was followed up by a couple more further south of us a few min later. Makes me think something is up or going down right now...... Then again, it's probably nothing at all.....             |

Thanks OP, keep us posted. Nothing here on the west side (PNW). One dual rotor transport copter following the highway towards the coast earlier but that’s somewhat normal. |

When you live near an AFB for an extended period of time, you just know when something isn't right. Keep your eyes and ears open OP! Truther, no matter how painful it may be initially. Stay the course. Laugh everyday. Listen to others, truly listen. Even if it takes you awhile to understand where they are coming from. Everyone has a life story. Ask someone what theirs is. Fighter to the core. Never give up, never give in. |

So far not a single mention of sonic booms from the OP. If there were that many flying at mach speed, the amount of booms would have the local news reporting it left and right. It only took me about 5-8 seconds to get outside and by that time, it was long gone, just a loud ass rumble passing off into the distance. |
