yes he did. the great concern is if this is re-emerging in recovered ppl. we already have some of those walking round in the US.

lots going on. cases of endemic outbreaks are higher than normal but so far not spreading far yet. there are several concerns- the world govern's have improved at covering up news. harder to get reports. testing is failing ro ID the virus responsible for outbreaks. medical diagnostics has gone backwards 100 yrs.

we've seen Ebola outbreaks before. unless it goes global like MP has, we don't need to b too worried but watchful.

that sounds like my luck. i feel stuck. prices go up higher than savings has. and now there is less out there than before, list gets smaller every month.

we looked at a place last month. loved the land. old farmhouse. chimneys were both shot to the old rusted shut coal stove and fireplace. with the inflation going higher, the repairs put it out of reach. don't want to go from stuck to stuck and freezing with no heat at all.

as to the tent. no, i have considered a camper thou. winter is coming. brrrrrr, less u buggout to TX.

The owners dumped our bid only because we didn't want an escalation clause. Evidently, there are 9 sibs in the group. We almost got the bid, but some have been in Cali too long and have no clue that our market is cooling down. It hasn't gone contingent yet, either. Like I said before, they'll have to live with their decisions. We'll just keep looking.

A few blessings to report: (posting on my two favorite threads)

So my part of FL is in the cone for Ian for next week--south eastern FL...We went out today to shop for stuff, especially water, since we are well into a 5 gallon jug..went to one Publix--nothing except Evian....called another Publix and they said the same thing....I had a strong feeling though, like I was being told--go to this other Publix I don't normally shop at, there will be 5 gallon jugs there...hubby has to come with me whenever I go out on the weekends, and he was ready to go home after the gas station and first Publix stop (I was able to get almost everything else there)--but I had a syringe of his meds and after getting it he was okay with making one more stop....

Sure enough, they had a bunch of the 5 gallon jugs, enough that I was able to get three (and there were more left for others--they also had cases of water still on the shelf whereas the other store has completely empty)....I was amazed and overjoyed....if you don't live in FL, especially before a hurricane, you don't realize what a miracle this was for us....I still have two jugs that I will use to fill up with tap water, just in case...going to fill up some baggies with water and put them in plastic shoe box bins sitting upright in my freezer to help keep it cold....

praying that the storm stays offshore somehow---Dorian really spooked me and made me believe that weather control is a real thing after that thing spun around in one spot in the Bahamas for three days about 50-75 miles directly offshore of us before heading due north....

Please keep hubby in prayers/positive thoughts as he keeps having panic attacks/anxiety as well as stomach pain (we think from gallstones) he also is on an antibiotic at the moment which is like pouring gasoline on a fire in his stomach....but needed because we saw the lung doctor who heard the crackling in his lower lungs...I couldn't hold a cough back and had been feeling really awful--this doctor kindly called in a RX for an antibiotic to CVS which I have been on since Tuesday also...a second blessing to report....

Please keep him in prayers--I just had to stop typing because he said he felt funny and BP was up so I gave him the med that'll bring it down...have to go sit with him...will grab the ipad...God Bless you all!

BC, wish I was coming down for this one, but I have an advanced OSHA training course I'm taking Monday through Wednesday, with a training I have to conduct here in Indiana first thing Thursday morning. So no way for me to make the trip.

Coincidentally, I'm taking my course through USF, so I'm wondering if the course will be affected by the hurricane if it hits Tampa.

interesting thread on the IRS hiring. IMO the hiring and plan doesn't fit the current timelines with covid. think it was drawn up before 2020 or regardlss of covid. will take years to implement and we don't have years.

merge vs vax damage/ assisted outbreaks

1> main thing the vax actually does is cover up symptoms. we can assume logically that it will cover up symptoms for other diseases as well.

2> ppl with vax are carrying and spreading viruses. since the vax covers up their symptoms, many do not feel sick. others do not sick until the disease is progressed and they are in severe stages.

3> hence, we have an increase in cases of odd diseases as the vax carriers are shedding them to each other and the un-vaxed. 3rd world countries have a lower % population of vaxed. therefore they will see outbreaks quicker as the vaxed have more ppl to spread them to.

4> we have outbreaks from the vaxed shedding their viruses and we have mutating merges of viruses with covid.

5>difference between outbreaks from vaxed and merges- merges are combinatons of viruses with covid. the new outbreak will have traits from both covid and the original version of the virus. some will b subtle to notice. traits from covid- defies testing, continues to mutate quickly, spreads via assymptomatic, more deadly, adds severe exhaustion, causes mental fog and zones ppl out, enhances genetic pre-disposition to other health problems including cancer, among others.

merges will carry traits from covid with them, whereas other normal outbreaks will not. in a merge, the symptoms may appear different than the original virus making them even harder to diagnose. covid is also known to hide in infected ppl and re-emerge later and cause long lasting symptoms. the way the virus transmits to others could also b changed in a merge. a merge will have 1 or several of these traits. as they also contain traits from the virus that merged, they will not have all covid traits.

by now we already have several examples.

HEP in children- this doesn't spread from 1 to another. it is shed from vaxed mothers to infants or young children. it is not showing any covid traits. even as mothers would spread this to older children or their spouses, only young children are becoming ill. if it was a merge, then we would see older ppl being infected as well. not a merge

tomato flu-re-labled as HFMD. this shows some covid traits. the spots look different which led to it being listed as a new outbreak. the HFMD outbreaks are showing high case #'s in several countries. merge

MP- mutated considerably from the original. so far is showing to b less deadly than the original. though i do believe this is a merge it is open to debate. it is possible that vaxed HIV carriers are more suceptible to the MP, which would cause the slow spreading we have seen. if it does not jump to spreading among more of the population, we can re-label it as a vax issue. merge

chicken pox was reported to re-infect ppl. were isolated reports from Europe. this would appear to b a merge. chicken pox rash looks different than MP sores. doubt the chicken pox reports were all mis-diagnosed MP.

there are many popup outbreaks that defied inital tests. many are occurring in nations where the diseases are endemic. others were isolated and contained such as the Argentina outbreak. some killed the hosts faster than they could b spread to others. other merges are benign enuf not to hit the news. without more data, it becomes dificult to differentiate between a vax assisted outbreak and a merge.

2 concerns- 1> the failures of testing will lead to more wide spreading of these outbreaks. 2> they can happen anywhere at any time. many viruses are kept in check by our immune systems. both covid and the vax have compromised the immune systems allowing for the viruses to merge with covid. a deadly merge can occur in our towns.

the original tactics to avoid covid are our best defence against these ongoing outbreaks of both vax-assisted and merges.

Hi Bastcat, full force on your final preparation like food, cooking/heating fuel and additional water storage (food that you will eat normally and can be kept long term).

If the limited tactical nuclear ended up as a full nuclear war suddenly and the radiation dust is over your sky, for at least 2 months (some study says 2 weeks), you can only eat what is inside your house (hidden with your windows and door fully closed), not water nor anything planted from outside your house.

I didn't see it in the main forum, but if they're claiming that they know the US military or NATO DEFCON level, they're either lying or they're committing a federal felony by revealing classified information. If you can link to it that would be helpful.

Our DEFCON alerts are for civilians, and we make it very clear that even if we know what the official military DEFCON level is, we will never post it.

Is it possible the European Command is at DEFCON 3? Yeah, I think it's unlikely, but it's possible.

We're holding at DEFCON 5 for now until the "referendums" are finished, and then we'll reevaluate.
