We braved the stores afterwards to get the last of Thanksgiving groceries. Now, I have to find room in the fridge.

It has felt and smelled stormy all morning, but it is all east of me.

GF's nurse report- do not take booster with flu shot at same time. she felt like she was dying. note- this 1 had a bout of cancer after when took the vax in the beginning.

nurse was out sick cpl wks ago when GF had appoint. she can stay away.

saw something that caught my eye few wks ago. group of ppl outside near a store with a low volume of shoppers. was bout 10 ppl. looked like they was just talking. noticed 1 had a high grade N95 mask on. not like u'd get at a hardware store. this 1 had ridges to the cloth. but was white so not the cheap home made cloth masks either.

was odd to see someone with a mask while just visiting other ppl. we do see ppl with a mask now and then going to stores. sometimes they are coughing , other times just older pl or with some handicap that suggests having other health issues. can't tell u the last time i saw anyone in a N95 and never saw that type before.

horse oats just to b safe. up Vit's. less outings for a wk or 2. that might mess up holiday plans but is safer.

Our power was out for about an hour...again. Wider area this time, but don't know why yet.

Wasn't the original recommendation to NOT take them both at the same time? I'm almost sure I heard/read that, but not long after, the commercials were pushing to take them together.

no, not by the HCW's. push was for both cause they didn't want ppl to take 1 and not the other. hence they push many vaccines at once.

if u read a lot, there are lots of changes or different from what our govern. CDC recommends. pregnant shouldn't take them. kids shouldn't. ppl with health issues. all depends where u read. seen some other countries change or stop giving it to some groups. don't file all that i have seen to memory thou. i just refuse to take any of them.

<1 in 6 will travel 50 miles and celebrate. and they claim it is busy and record breaking. 55 million.

so either ppl have no $$ or live super close to parents and family or the % true Americans is way low or there ain't no 330+ million in the country. u pick. u will see similar reports for xmas, xmas shopping, etc. thoughout the year.

I stood in the corner at least 10 feet away from the nearest person. Refused to sit down. Nurse noticed me standing and asked me if I wanted to wait in the outer waiting room with no people instead, so that's where I went.

Just picked up a 5G home internet gateway, so now if we lose one internet source my router will automatically switch over to the other one. If we lose both simultaneously, that will be a big clue that something big is going on.

We're working from home often enough to warrant the extra $45 on our cell phone bill.

i could ask if it was sealed from the other room. truth is the air isn't filtered very fast if they do suck the air out thru a filter even. so isn't just those ppl that u se that breathed on u it is the ppl for half an hour or so before too.

u did try to avoid, that's all we can really do. we come home from appoints and take bleach baths.

Keep an eye on your pets.
Family member’s cat had to spend 2 nights at medvet to be rehydrated and scanned after being sick for several days and just seeing the regular vet a couple of times. Had UTI and then stomach inflammation. Vomiting and diarrhea

MedVet said a lot of pets are getting sick and they are constantly busy

Treated with antibiotics, probiotics and IV for rehydration.
