Because this is like the second or third post you've made on this thread regarding Musk's apparent support for the 2nd amendment in relation to Twitter, and maybe it's just me, but I don't recall Musk insisting on the right of Twitter users to own firearms throughout this entire debacle.

Then again maybe I'm wrong, can you provide any links of Elon Musk supposedly fighting for gun rights on Twitter?

Bullshit, it was a win win marketing deal. Musk got to position himself as a hero of the people, Twitter got to reenforce it’s image as a left wing safe space to its user base.
