Perhaps. However, an explosion doesn’t explain the light getting MUCH brighter as lighting would do. Most won’t consciously recognize the light a split second before the, “explosion” and during the explosion the bright light is easily misinterpreted as light from the explosion, it wasn’t. That being the case, this explosion made no light? Is that even possible? No it’s not.
